Calculation Method
Legal Fees:
- Up to RM500k: 1.25%
- From RM500k to RM7.5 million: 1%
- Above RM7.5 million: Negotiated rate (between 0% and 1%)
- A discount (up to 25%) may be applied; however, a minimum fee of RM500 is charged after discount.
Stamp Duty:
- Up to RM100k: 1%
- Between RM100k to RM500k: 2%
- Between RM500k to RM1 million: 3%
- Above RM1 million: 4%

Calculation Method
Legal Fee:
- If monthly rental is RM10,000 or below: 30% of the rental (minimum RM500).
- If monthly rental is above RM10,000: legal fee is a range from 15% to 25% of the rental.
Stamp Duty:
- Annual rental is calculated as monthly rental x 12.
- The first RM2,400 of the annual rental is exempt.
- For taxable rental:
- 1-year tenancy: RM1 per RM250 (or part thereof).
- 2- or 3-year tenancy: RM2 per RM250 (or part thereof).
